The National School Lunch Program waiver thot provided free meals to students has expired. This means that school meals will no longer be automatically free. In order to qualify for free or reduced-price meals, you will need to submit on application for the 22-23 school year.
Qualification is based on factors that include one or more of the following: household size; income; participation in assistance programs such as SNAP, FDPIR, and TANF; and living situations such as homelessness and migrancy.

If you would like to be considered for a fee waiver for the 22-23 school year, applications must be received before the first day of school. This includes a completed fee waiver application form and submission of one or more of the following documents:
2021 Income Tax Returns
The 3 most recent paystubs for each working household members
SSI: Current verification of receiving SSI payments
TANF: Letter of decision that covers the current period from Workforce Services
State Custody or Foster Care: Provide the Youth in Custody Required Intake Form and/clearance from Alpine Summit
2. Pay in-person with cash or check. *Note that food service workers at Polaris cannot accept credit or debit cards (Solo puede pagar en efectivo o con cheque en el comedor de Polaris)
